Coursera, Kant and a new laptop.

...Not necessarily in that order.

I have a new laptop! And as sometimes happens when I have a new piece of technological kit I feel the need to write a blog post. So this excuse for +1 to my post count is the Samsung S3 Chromebook. I love it. It is light, fast (when doing the things you should be doing on it) and has that handy little slot for a simcard which equals the ability to connect to the interwebs everywhere (in the UK at the moment). The killer aspect/use for me is when I am travelling (which I do quite a bit) it has a usability and form which is perfect for this. It could have been a little bit more rugged, and it does have some difficulty when it comes to YouTube videos. But what can you complain about for something as cheap as it is.

Now on to more pressing matters...

Ok, well not so pressing. I just wanted to add a nano second of suspense here. What I mean to say is that I have started signing up to Coursera.org . I have done this in an attempt to keep myself mentally active in less stressful environments than work and for the sheer enjoyment factor. So for the last two hours I have been reading Kant! And I loved it!

So here is my second recommendation for you lucky people... Coursera! Get on it. And if you would like to join me on the course 'The Modern and the Postmodern' you have a couple of days before it starts (Monday).
